How do you do resource leveling in Project with Project Server ? Or anyway to block a resource from being re-allocated again to another project on the same day?

You level resources in Project the same you did in previous versions using the leveling tool and other available techniques. There is no way to have the system automatically prevent overallocations, but there a many ways to detect and view these in both Project and Project Server.

Please follow up with any specific questions you have about the leveling tools. There are some potential \”issues\” with using leveling with Manually Scheduled tasks. A resource predecessor is a task predecessor that considers the assigned resource\’s workload. During task sequencing, predecessors were assigned based on each phase or task priority. A project is initiated before it is planned and before it is executed; therefore, the initiation task would be a task predecessor to the planning task, while the execution task is the planning task\’s successor Figure A.
